Crime Patrol

What is Forest Meadow Crime Patrol (FMCP)?

Shield emblem with 'Forest Meadow Crime Patrol' text.

The FMCP is chartered to provide security & crime prevention services to the Forest Meadow neighborhood with patrolled services by off-duty Dallas Police Department (DPD) police officers. This DPD presence assists in lowering crime, providing additional quick response efforts to you, your family and loved ones.

Membership Provides:

  • Paid off-duty DPD officers patrolling in DPD marked cars
  • 25-45 hours per week of patrol (the number of memberships increases the number of patrol hours)
  • A dedicated (non-emergency) phone number  to DPD officers to report concerns
  • FMCP members not only get courtesy armed patrols by DPD but also monitoring & checking of homes for people out of town (by request)
